Incorporated in 2012 to support the construction industry, providing high-quality Culture Change, Coaching, CDM Management, HSEQ and training services to our clients. Our team has completed numerous projects, including UK wide and international works in Holland, Italy, Trinidad and Tobago as well as Norway.
Our team consists of experienced and skilled professionals, including Principal Designers, Chartered Health Safety and Environmental Consultants, Project & Site Managers, NVQ Assessors, Internal Quality Assurers, Trainers and also specialist CDM and Disposal Yard professionals. We work together to ensure the success of each project we undertake.
We offer a wide range of pre-construction, construction and close out services in alignment with CDM and other regulatory requirements. We are committed to delivering exceptional results on every project.
In his early career, our 'Director' served in the British Forces, he has a Bosnia medal which was awarded to service personnel who contributed to alliance operations in the former Republic of Yugoslavia. In Construction, he has worked across the breadth and depth of the UK, both onshore and offshore as well as overseas in Holland, Norway, Italy, Trinidad & Tobago and Australia. He is a RGU Health, Safety & Risk Management MSc Post Graduate and Certified as an APS CDM Principal Designer for Late Life Operations. He is also a mentor to members wishing to achieve chartered environmentalist or chartered construction manager status via CIOB's Mentoring Service.
The Head of Finance & Administration is also the Co-Owner of the business, at the heart of things running smoothly and efficiently at AYP. In her early career, she graduated as a Teacher at the University of Cumbria, spending 10 years in the education sector before moving into AYP. Originally focussed on the financial management aspect of the business, and later, as the business has grown, coordinating all the administration associated with Client and Customer management, Policy Setting, Training and Corporate Membership maintenance. She also plays a pivotal role in the community with various voluntary and social value activities.
All our consultants hold a relevant and valid CSCS card and CCDO which provides proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out. The scheme keeps a database of people working in construction.
The SSIP Forum was set up with representatives from contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), Constructionline, Exor and the National House-Building Council (NHBC) with the support of the Health and Safety Executive. SIPP acts as an umbrella organisation to facilitate mutual recognition between health and safety assessment schemes wherever it is practicable to do so.
Following a robust and rigorous assessment, AYP were certified with Constructionline Gold in April 2025.
Following the achievement of Constructionline Gold, our business was further assessed and achieved Acclaim SSIP certification in April 2025.
Acclaim Health & Safety SSIP certification, has been renamed to Once For All Health & Safety.
Our SSIP certification has a new look, and a new name, but the accreditation remains the same.
We have delivered training across the UK and overseas for major clients, including basic health and safety awareness, radiation protection, bespoke intervention theory, risk perception, culture change and situational awareness. We have assessed over 400 NVQ candidates to support industry competence.
Did you know that candidates holding the Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management who had a Chartered Assessor can apply for chartered membership (MCIOB) using the qualification as evidence of meeting the Professional Review competence criteria. These candidates are eligible for a shortened pathway.
